Trapezoid Motion Sensor Plug-In Night Light

The Trapezoid Night Light brings a modern, angular silhouette to a functional plug-in fixture. Rather than a simple rounded shape, the housing tapers into a four-sided trapezoid with a wide top and narrower base, giving it a distinct architectural look on the wall that stands apart from typical night light shapes.

A downward-facing light panel runs along the lower edge of the housing and casts a wide arc of warm amber illumination across the floor and lower wall rather than straight ahead, which is particularly useful for lighting a path underfoot without shining directly into anyone’s eyes as they walk past. The amber tone was chosen specifically because warmer color temperatures are less disruptive to the body’s natural sleep cycle than cooler white light, making this a sensible option for a bedroom or a child’s room.

A motion sensor sits in a small circular housing on the top face of the unit and continuously monitors the surrounding area. When it detects movement, it switches the light on automatically and keeps it lit for a preset duration before switching off again once the room is empty, so there’s no manual switch to find and no light left running unnecessarily during the day.

• Motion-activated PIR sensor turns the light on and off automatically
• Angled light panel directs a broad, warm amber glow downward for safer nighttime navigation
• Sculptural four-sided trapezoid housing adds a modern touch to any outlet
• Plugs directly into any standard wall socket — no assembly required
• Low energy draw suitable for continuous overnight use
• Compact footprint doesn’t block the second outlet socket
